This is how we get around. Ben Jackson "Beef Cake" stands proud with our wheels, South Silver put in.
David Maurier joined the crazy Kiwi's for a high water run. Luckily he's accustomed to kiwi speak, our way of thinking and getting down the river.
Our team managed to get in there before most, meaning most moves had a bit more more push than normal. Extra water on slides is a good thing! Make sure you get it right on "plastic surgery"

California 2007 arrival
Ben Jackson gets involved in "Lovers Leap"

Ive just completed a successful transition visiting the US embassy before leaving NZ with my work visa for 2007.
We touched down in Sacramento on a day which had "cooled down" with the non air condition outside temperature only reading 30c!
Ben Jackson and I have hit the ground running so to speak with a now registered vehicle, some quality kayaking missions along with the great American hospitality we have become accustomed to.
Including the day we arrived and one day soaked up dealing with insurance and eating burgers we have managed 6 out of the last 8 days on primo whitewater.
Image Zak Shaw - Bald Rock Canyon.
Graham Charles and Deter King (Cali whitewater pioneer on his 25th descent) enter the first rapids of Bald Rock.
Atom Bomb, if you choose to, Im not sure why you wouldn't this is one of the best overnight campsites ever! Rock, Rock slabs, Bedrock, it rocks, Bald rock.

Wake up Bro! Curtain falls, 30ft. Day two gets under way for Ben

Happy Foam slug.
If your onto it a party boat from Lake Orovillie will pick you up with the cold beers and save your team what I'm sure is 13 fantastic miles of fun flat lake paddling to the car! This is why we hang with Deter, "taking it easy"
