Time to pack again! Do one thing enough and its pretty easy to get good at it. This week I fly back to the High Arctic! At present its 95F in California so Im expecting the transition from wearing sandals and board shorts to fleece pants a down jacket and a floater suit to be quite abrupt!
During the recent heat wave that passed over California I found myself dreaming of being cold and seeing Greenland's massive icebergs. We had a day temp of 107F on the Klamath river last week. The rivers water temperature similar to that of a bath has no cooling effect.
To be cold, bring it on!
